GREENWOOD - The Lander women's tennis team remained unbeaten Sunday afternoon when it won two of three doubles matches and four singles to earn a 6-3 Peach Belt Conference victory over USC Aiken at the Joe Cabri Courts.

Lander improves to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in the PBC, while USC Aiken is 2-3, 0-2.

In singles, No. 1 Stephanie Humphrey (USCA) def. Vuokko Vahatalo, 6-0, 6-3; No. 2 Anni Pajunen (L) def. Mathilde Grenet, 6-2, 4-6, 6-0; No. 3 Eliza Adusumilli (L) def. Maria Soledad Angel, 6-0, 6-1; No. 4 Caitlin Fell (L) def. Brittany Telford, 0-6, 6-4, 7-6; No. 5 Nicola James (L) def. Melanie Schnieder, 6-2, 6-4; and No. 6 Brittany Gore (USCA) def. Ana Luiza Zaia, 6-3, 7-6.

In doubles, No. 1 Grenet/Telford (USCA) def. Pajunen/Zaia, 8-5; No. 2 Adusumilli/James (L) def. Humphrey/Soledad, 8-4; and No. 3 Vahatalo/Fell (L) def. Gore/Schnieder, 8-3.
