GREENWOOD - Lander's Jamie Ramm, a senior defender from Scarborough, England, was selected as the Peach Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week for men's soccer it was announced by the league office today (Nov. 3).

Last week Ramm helped the Bearcats to a 2-0 slate, which included a 3-0 non-conference victory over Erskine College, and a 1-0 win over PBC rival Clayton State. Ramm led the defense through two shutouts and scored the lone goal against Clayton State despite being outshot, 13-7. Against Erskine, the Lander defense limited the Flying Fleet to just five shots.
