ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. - Aaron Brittain, last year's Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year, scored the lone goal of the game Saturday night as the Lander men's soccer team handed Flagler its first PBC loss of the season.

Lander improves to 5-4-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the PBC, while Flagler drops to 7-4-1, 4-1.

Brittain's goal came at 29:18 off an assist from Adam Arthur.

Flagler outshot Lander, 16-10, and led in corner kicks, 9-3.

Flagler goalkeeper Matt Gilman recorded five saves, while Lander's Matthew Atkinson had six.

Lander will host USC Aiken at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 14 in a PBC game.
