AIKEN - Ivan Stoykov scored two goals to lead the Lander men's soccer team to a 3-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over USC Aiken Wednesday night in the league opener for both teams.

Lander improves to 5-1-1 overall and 1-0 in the PBC, while USC Aiken slips to 2-5, 0-1.

Jamie Ramm led off the scoring for the Bearcats when he netted the ball on an unassisted goal in the 20th minute.

Stoykov netted his first goal on an assist from Aaron Brittain in the 54th minute and scored his final goal on an assist from Sammy Beydoun in the 88th minute.

The shutout is the fifth of the season for the Bearcats.
