GREENWOOD - Lander's Aaron Brittain, a sophomore forward from Cleveland, England, was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year it was announced at a luncheon in Evans, Ga. on Friday.
Lander forward Adam Arthur, goalkeeper Billy Hale and defender Martyn Bell joined Brittain on the first team, while midfielder Jamie Davison was named to the second team.
Brittain, who is the seventh Bearcat to be named PBC Player of the Year and the third in the past four years, led the conference in total points with 29 and was second in goals scored with 12. He had three game-winning goals during the season and had two multi-goal games.
