GREENWOOD - The Lander men's soccer team improved two places to No. 11 this week in the NSCAA national rankings released on Tuesday.

Lander, which is 9-1-1 overall and leads the Peach Belt Conference with a 4-0 record, defeated UNC Pembroke, 3-2, last week in its only game played.

Lynn University remains the top-ranked team and is followed by: 2. Midwestern State TX, 3. Fort Lewis CO, 4. Cal State Los Angeles, 5. Southern New Hampshire, 6. Ashland OH, 7. Tusculum TN, 8. Millersville PA, 9. Rockhurst MO, and 10. Cal State Dominguez Hills. The second ten are: 11. Lander, 12. St. Edwards TX, 13. Northern Kentucky, 14. Tampa FL, 15. East Stroudsburg PA, 16. Sonoma State CA, 17. Merrimack MA, 18. Metro State CO, 19. West Florida, and 20. Lees-McRae NC.
