MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - Georgia College & State University's Kayla Emerson scored the lone goal of the game Wednesday night to lead the Bobcats to a 1-0 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander.

GCSU improves to 7-1-1 overall and 1-1 in the PBC, while Lander slips to 5-3, 1-2.

Emerson took control of a deflected shot and found the back of the net at 62:08.

GCSU outshot Lander, 23-7, and led in corner kicks, 5-3.

Lander goalkeeper Katherine Baltz recorded 10 saves, while GCSU's Mary Plunkett had one.
