GREENEVILLE, Tenn.----The No. 16-ranked Lander men's soccer team moved to 5-1-2 on the season Tuesday night when the Bearcats tied Tusculum College, 0-0, in double overtime at Pioneer Field.
The Pioneers and Bearcats remained equal with five shots a piece in the first half, and nine in the second. Both teams ended with 18 shots on the game but neither could net one for the win.
In the second half senior Tony Prisco was set up for the game-winner but shot the ball slightly wide. Bruno Conceicao had a break away in the first overtime but could not get one past Bearcat goalie Garrett Daum who had eight saves. Tusculum goalkeeper Lance Moore had 10 saves.
