GREENWOOD----The Lander volleyball team remained unbeaten Tuesday night when the Bearcats improved to 5-0 by defeating Limestone College, 30-15, 30-24, 31-29, in a non-conference contest in Horne Arena.

Limestone drops to 1-4 overall.

Andrea Griffin and Kay Stewart led the Bearcats with 14 and 13 kills respectively, while Candace LaRocca had 21 assists. Sara Senn tallied 17 digs and 11 assists, and Ashley Ferry had 14 digs. Senn and Stewart also had three block assists and one solo block each.

For Limestone, Melissa Thomas had 22 kills and nine digs; Jennifer O'Keefe had 10 kills, Laura Kerrison tallied 22 assists and Chelsea Anthony and Courtney Taotoai had 14 and 11 digs respectively.
