ANDERSON, S.C.----The Lander volleyball team improved to 4-0 on the season Saturday when the Bearcats notched two more wins at the season-opening Anderson Invitational.

In Saturday's first game, Lander downed Claflin, 30-15, 30-14, 30-15, then defeated North Greenville, 30-16, 30-17, 30-17.

Against Claflin, Mallory Wasik tallied 15 kills, while Candace LaRocca had 17 assists, Marina Camps 15 digs and Kay Stewart three solo blocks.

Against North Greenville, Andrea Griffin had 14 kills, LaRocca 36 assists, Melissa Trippany 13 digs and Sara Senn and Ashley Latham 1.5 blocks each.
