MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.----The tenth ranked Lander men's tennis team won two of three doubles matches and four singles to earn a 6-3 Peach Belt Conference victory Thursday afternoon against No. 21 Georgia College & State University.

Lander improves to 3-3 overall and 1-1 in the PBC.

In singles, Erick Siqueira (GCSU) def. Joakim Karlsson, 2-6, 6-2, 6-2; No. 2. Nicolas Legros (LU) def. Giovane Nucci, 6-3, 6-2; No. 3 Rodrigo Yamauti (GCSU) def. Guilherme Fonseca, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4; No. 4 George Wilkinson (LU) def. Max Beliankov, 6-3, 6-2; No. 5 Andre Ivarsson (LU) def. Joao Casagrande, 6-4, 6-3; and No. 6 T.C. Valle (LU) def. Melvin Smith, 7-6, 6-3.

In doubles, Siqueira/Yamauti (GCSU) def. Legros/Fonseca, 8-6; No. 2 Karlsson/Willers (LU) def. Casagrande/Smith, 8-5; and No. 3 Valle/Ivarsson (LU) def. Beliankov/Nucci, 8-3.
