MORROW, Ga.----Aaron Brittain and Adam Arthur scored two goals each Friday afternoon to lead the second-seeded Lander men's soccer team to a 5-1 victory over fourth-seeded UNC Pembroke in the Peach Belt Conference tournament semifinals hosted by Clayton State University.

Lander improves to 13-3-2, while UNCP finishes the season at 8-11. Lander will face either top-seeded Clayton State or fifth-seeded North Georgia College at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the PBC tournament championship game.
UNCP took an early 1-0 first-half lead at 9:55 when Thomas Morrow scored from right in front of the goal on a double-assist frm Miguel Ferrer and Mason Peacock.
Lander tied the game at 1-1 when Brittain scored his first goal at 60:54 on an assist from Jamie Davison. The Bearcats took the lead for good at 64:52 when Martyn Bell fired a 35-yard score on another assist from Davison.
Davison came through with another scoring pass at 79:15 when he found Adam Arthur on the right side of the goal. Arthur headed the ball in for a 3-1 lead. Brittain second score was unassisted at 84:39 and Arthur nailed his second goal from 35 yards out on an assist from Jamie Ramm at 85:46.
Lander outshot UNCP, 17-12, and led in corner kicks, 8-2.
Lander goal keeper Garrett Daum recorded eight saves and UNCP's Wes Bowers had four.
