BANNER ELK, N.C.----Kerri Sorensen had nine kills and Sara Senn eight to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 30-16, 30-16, 30-16 non-conference victory over Converse College Friday night at Lees-McRae College.

Lander improves to 14-5 overall.

Candace LaRocca totaled 25 assists and four service aces, while Melissa Trippany added 15 digs. Senn, LaRocca, Marina Camps and Ashley Ferry each recorded nine digs, while Kay Stewart had seven block assists.
