GREENWOOD----Columbus State won the battle of the Peach Belt Conference's only unbeaten teams Saturday night as the No. 10-ranked Cougars downed the Bearcats, 2-0, in a PBC contest.

Columbus State improves to 10-3-1 overall and 5-0 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 9-3, 5-1.

Judith Ospina nailed a penalty kick at 21:33 to give Columbus State a 1-0 lead. Hannah Ospina scored the Cougars second goal on a corner kick from Lindsey Morgan at 57:36.

CSU outshot Lander, 17-6, and led in corner kics, 5-3.

Lander goalkeeper Rachael Hine had eight saves, while CSU's Monica Sanchez totaled four.
