GAFFNEY, S.C.----The Lander volleyball team suffered its first loss of the season Wednesday night when it lost to Limestone College, 3-1, in a non-conference match. The Lady Saints outscored Lander, 24-30, 30-23, 30-20, 30-20.

Lander drops to 4-1 overall, while Limestone improves to 2-3.

Sara Senn led the Bearcat attack with 10 kills and 14 digs, while Kerri Sorensen and Kay Stewart added 15 and 11 kills respectively. Carly Plecha had a team-high 25 assists and Jennifer (JJ) Edwards added 15. Melissa Trippany chipped in 13 digs and two service aces.
