DUE WEST----Colleen Leggieri smacked a two-run home run and Melissa Ryals went 1-for-3 with one double and four RBI in the second game to lead the Lander softball team to a 10-0 victory and a non-conference doubleheader sweep against Erskine Tuesday afternoon. Lander won the first game, 3-1. The second game was called in the fifth inning due to the eight-run rule.

With the wins, Lander improves to 17-16-1, while Erskine falls to 9-13-1.

Jenna Kellett (6-7) earned the victory in the first game. Keri Davis went 1-for-3 with one RBI and Colleen Leggieri was 2-for-3.

In the second game, Austin Murray tossed a one-hit shutout to improve to 2-3 on the season.
