GREENWOOD----Missy Deardorff had 14 kills and 13 digs to go along with two solo blocks and seven block assists Friday night to lead the USC Aiken volleyball team to a 3-1 Peach Belt Conference victory against Lander in Horne Arena. Games scores were: 36-38, 30-17, 30-25, 33-31.

USCA improves to 25-6 overall and 9-2 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 19-14, 1-10.

Mandy Gerolstein added 14 kills and seven block assists for the Lady Pacers, while Laura Williams recorded 12 kills. Cheryl Barcas led USCA in assists with 45 and also had 12 digs.  Hayden Johnson had a team-high 20 kills, followed by Stefanie Durham with 19. Veronica Seidle added three service aces.

Lander was led by Sara Senn (17 kills, 11 digs), Andrea Griffin (15 kills, nine digs), Kay Stewart (11 kills, 2 solo blocks, five block assists), Jennifer (JJ) Edwards (49 assists, 16 digs), Marina Camps (18 digs), Melissa Trippany (18 digs) and Melissa Hedberg (five block assists).
