GREENWOOD----Sara Senn and Andrea Griffin recorded 10 kills each Wednesday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-0 non-conference victory over Newberry College in Horne Arena. Lander outscored the Lady Indians, 30-13, 30-21, 30-27.

Lander improves to 18-10 overall, while Newberry drops to 2-19.

Jennifer (JJ) Edwards led Lander in assists with a game-high 30, while Melissa Trippany and Marina Camps recorded 20 and 10 digs respectively. Lander posted a .347 hitting percentage.

Newberry was led by Jessica Lipsi (10 kills, 8 digs), Jessica Lopez (21 assists, 8 digs), Lorena Maia (15 digs, 2 service aces), and Jennamarie Lesky (12 digs).
