GAFFNEY, S.C.—The Limestone College women's soccer team defeated Lander, 1-0, on Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match for its seventh shutout this season.

Limestone improves to 6-5-5 overall while Lander falls to 3-10. The game's lone goal was scored by Alexis Brothers.

The Lady Saints were on top of things offensively, firing 23 shots during the game. Limestone got on the board in the 17th minute as Brothers scored on Erin Hoffman's assist.

Lander's goalkeeper Rachael Hine had 11 saves during the contest while Lady Saint Liz Eichhorn had one.
