GREENWOOD----Drew Courtney took a missed shot by teammate Zach Ducey and scored the lone goal of the game at 73:38 Saturday night to lead the Lander men's soccer team to a 1-0 non-conference victory over Limestone College.

Lander improves to 3-1 overall, while Limestone drops to 1-1-1.

Lander outshot the Saints, 9-6, and led in corner kicks, 16-1.

Lander goalkeeper Ryan Peck was credited with four saves, while Limestone's Ryan Robinson had five.

Lander will travel to Anderson College for a 7 p.m. non-conference match on Tuesday, Sept. 6.
