GREENWOOD----Sara Senn and Kerri Sorensen each posted double-doubles Thursday night to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-1 non-conference victory over North Greenville College in Horne Arena. Game scores were: 30-17, 30-24, 24-30, 30-19.

Lander improves to 6-6 overall, while North Greenville drops to 5-4.

Senn led Lander with 21 kills, five service aces and 13 digs, while Sorensen added 17 kills, two service aces and 15 digs. Claire Damon had 38 assists. Justyne Quisenberry added eight kills, while Melissa Trippany and Tracy Jacobs had 18 and 15 digs respectively.

North Greenville was led by Katy Hesler (11 kills), Charity Barnwell (23 assists) and Cindy Ray (19 digs).

Lander will host Lenoir-Rhyne at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Horne Arena.
