PEMBROKE, N.C.----UNC Pembroke's Kelly Jones netted a second half goal to knot the score at 1-1, while the Braves defense held off Lander to give Pembroke a 1-1 double overtime draw in women's soccer action Saturday afternoon on Senior Day at the Belk Athletic Complex

Lander's Stacy Copeland gave the Bearcats an early 1-0 lead with a goal at the 23:13 mark, but Jones answered in the 70th minute tying the score at one goal apiece.

Neither team could manage a goal in overtime, much less a shot. Lander only took one shot in overtime, while Pembroke could only get off two.

UNCP keeper Hillary Helms stopped six shots on the day as Lander's Rachel Hine posted seven saves.
