GREENWOOD – Lander and Clayton State played 110 minutes of scoreless soccer Tuesday night, settling for a 0-0 tie in Peach Belt Conference women's action.
Lander's record is 5-7-2 overall and 2-1-2 in the PBC. Clayton State is 9-2-1, 4-1-1.
Both teams had several scoring opportunities with the Lakers taking 17 shots to Lander's 10. Bearcats midfielder Stacey Copeland made a save in goal in the second overtime, turning back one of several Clayton scoring chances.
Lander's Rachael Hine had six saves while Clayton's Judith Chime had two stops. The Lakers had a 7-5 edge in corner kicks.
