DUE WEST, S.C.----The Lander men's basketball team placed four players in double figures Monday in defeating Erskine College, 84-57, in a non-conference contest.

Geoff Brower led the way with 16 points and was followed by Hunter Roark 14, Terrance Powell 13 and Lloyd Wilson 11. Wilson had a game-high 10 assists and Roark (at left) led the team in rebounds with six.

Lander, which improves to 6-2, will host Georgia College & State University in its Peach Belt Athletic Conference opener at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in Horne Arena.

Lander connected on 11-of-22 three-point attempts and shot 47.6 percent from the field.

Erskine, which drops to 1-5, was led by Kevin Williamson and Leonardo Scott, who netted 17 and 13 points respectively.
