Meredith Hollinger enters her second season as Lander’s assistant volleyball coach in 2026 after joining the Bearcats in August 2025.
In her first season at Lander, Hollinger helped the Bearcats to a 20-11 overall record and a 10-5 mark in Peach Belt Conference play. Lander advanced to the PBC Tournament championship match for just the third time in program history and earned the No. 7 seed in the NCAA Southeast Regional.
Hollinger helped coach a Lander squad that produced the first All-American in program history, the PBC Player of the Year, two All-PBC selections and two PBC All-Tournament Team selections. The Bearcats also earned the AVCA Team Academic Award, while four student-athletes received CSC Academic All-District honors and seven earned PBC academic honors.
Hollinger joined the Bearcats after serving as a graduate assistant at Springfield College in Massachusetts from August 2023 to May 2025. During her time with the Pride, she helped guide the program to back-to-back NCAA Division III Tournament appearances, a conference championship in 2023 and a runner-up finish in 2024.
During her two seasons at Springfield, the Pride produced seven All-Americans, eight AVCA All-Region selections and six All-Conference honorees. The program also earned AVCA Region Player and Freshman of the Year honors in 2023, along with Conference Coaching Staff of the Year and Conference Offensive Player of the Year recognition.
Before beginning her coaching career, Hollinger was a standout student-athlete at Erskine College, where she earned multiple All-Conference accolades. She was named the 2022 Erskine College Female Athlete of the Year and was a 2023 Murphy Osborne Award finalist, an honor presented annually to the most outstanding senior student-athlete in Conference Carolinas. She earned her degree in psychology with a minor in history.
Hollinger also spent time as a player at Christian Brothers University.
