Lander University

Steve Richards is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach with the Lander men's soccer program. Richards joined the Bearcats in August 2019. 

Richards, who has spent the past two years as the Director of Soccer & Collegiate Development for the Bulls Soccer Club in Martinez, Ga., brings more than 30 years of professional playing and coaching experience to the Bearcats. Richards has also coached with the women's soccer programs at Nova Southeastern and Brevard Community College, as well as the men's program at Florida Tech. 

Richards played professionally in England and ended his playing career with the Orlando Sundogs before becoming the head coach of the Orlando Nighthawks.
