Lander University

Chris Hippenmeyer joined Lander's training staff in August 2019. Hippenmeyer serves as the primary trainer for the wrestling program and works with men's and women's rugby in the spring. 

Hippenmeyer spent the last three years as the head athletic trainer at May River High School in Bluffton, S.C. Prior to that, he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Penn State, where he worked with several varsity teams including football, field hockey and women's lacrosse. He also completed an internship with Missouri football in 2013.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., he earned his bachelors in athletic training from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., in 2013.
