Kristina MacLure joined the Lander University Strength and Conditioning staff in August of 2022. She serves as the primary Strength Coach for Lander’s Acrobatics and Tumbling, Volleyball, Field Hockey, and men and women’s Track and Field and Cross Country teams.
Previous to Lander, MacLure was a Graduate Fellow Strength and Conditioning Coach at Merrimack College, where she primarily worked with men and women's Track and Field team, men’s Cross Country team, and the Women’s Volleyball team. MacLure also assisted with the women’s Ice Hockey team, Football, Softball, women’s Cross Country, and women’s Soccer team. She graduated with a Masters of Science in Sport and Exercise Science with a focus in Strength in Conditioning from Merrimack in May 2022.
MacLure has completed Sports Performance/Strength and Conditioning internships at both the University of Rhode Island (working with men’s and women’s Basketball, Football, women’s Tennis, men’s Golf, and women’s Swim and Dive teams) and Arizona State University (virtual internship).
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Rhode Island in May 2021. While at URI, MacLure competed in Track and Field, achieving five school records, one Atlantic-10 conference record, three individual conference championships, and was a two-time NCAA Regionals qualifier.
MacLure is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA.
