Brooke Whipkey joined the inaugural staff in the summer of 2022.
Whipkey comes to Greenwood from Charlotte, N.C. where she coached at the HTC Field Hockey Club, the Charlotte Ambush Field Hockey Club, as well as the USA Field Hockey Futures team.
Whipkey is an alumnus of Quinnipiac University, where she received her bachelor's in computer information systems and her master's in business analytics. She played five seasons for the Bobcats from 2017-2022 where she started in 29 games, tallied 24 points (8G, 8A), and scored three game-winning goals in overtime. She was named the team's best offensive player in 2018. Whipkey also excelled in the classroom as she was named to the Big East All-Academic Team in 2017 and 2019 and was also named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad and was an NFHCA Scholar of Distinction all five seasons of her career.
