AUGUSTA, Ga. – A second straight week with a tournament win kept the PBC Women's Golfer of the Week title in the hands of Sarah Reed, it was announced this afternoon.

Reed took first place at the Savannah Lakes Invitational at Monticello Golf Club early last week. It was her second win as many starts as a member of the LU program as she shot 70/70/72 to finish -4.

Reed, who maintained her 36-hole lead on Tuesday, paced the field of 101 competitors with 13 birdies while also posting the best par-5 scoring average. She made 32 pars on the week as Lander placed T-6th out of 18 teams.

The No. 8 Bearcats have this week off from competition and will return to the course Oct. 5-6 in North Greenville's Glassy Mountain Autumn Classic in Landrum.
