43 Bearcats Earn PBC All-Academic Team Honors

MARTINEZ, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference announced its Winter and Spring All-Academic Teams this week, with 43 Lander student-athletes earning recognition.

To be eligible for the PBC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must compete in at least half of their team's contests and serve as either a starter or significant contributor, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher on a 4.0 scale, and be academically and athletically classified as at least a sophomore. Transfer student-athletes become eligible once all requirements are met.

The 43 selections bring Lander's total to 66 PBC All-Academic honorees during the 2025-26 academic year. Over the past five academic years, Lander Athletics has produced 340 PBC All-Academic Team selections, including 82 in 2023-24, 73 in 2024-25, 52 in 2022-23 and 67 in 2021-22.

The academic success continues a strong year in the classroom for Lander Athletics. As a department, student-athletes posted a 3.37 cumulative GPA during the 2025-26 academic year, with 78 percent earning a GPA above 3.0.
