AUGUSTA, Ga. – Greyson Pritzl was announced today as the Peach Belt Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Previously the winner of the award on Jan. 26, Pritzl was the head of the Lander offense over its 3-0 week last week.
He averaged just over 20 points per game, five rebounds per game and two assists per game while carrying a 54.5% shooting percentage (18/33) and an otherworldly 50% rate from 3-point range (10/20).
Pritzl started the week off with 22 points on 6-of-12 shooting in a 95-82 win at USC Beaufort. He was 3 of 6 from downtown in that game and made 7 of 9 free throws while tacking on three rebounds plus an assist.
On Wednesday at home versus Georgia Southwestern, Pritzl collected 21 points after making 6 of 10 shots with a 3 of 6 clip from 3-point land. He sank all six of his free throws and pulled down as many rebounds in the 84-62 win to go along with three assists.
The Wisconsinite capped the week shooting 6 of 11 overall and 4 of 8 on 3s as he scored 18 points in a 77-68 victory at USCA. Pritzl grabbed six more rebounds against the Pacers and had two assists.
