AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference announced its Women's Soccer All-Conference Teams and Major Award winners on Friday morning ahead of the conference tournament. Lander's
Angele Hills and
Kylie Wilson earned All-Conference honors for the second time in their careers, and
Gabby Redman was named the Elite 18 Award winner.
Hills was named First Team All-PBC for the first time after previously being named to the Second Team in 2024. She has so far matched her goal total from that campaign with seven this season, including the first hat-trick of her career against USCA on Sept. 30. That notable performance netted Hills the PBC Player of the Week on Oct. 5. Hills, who has started all 15 matches this season, is tied for fifth in the conference in goals and is 10th in points.
Wilson added her second consecutive Second Team designation. She has started every game for the Bearcats this year while playing 1,289 minutes – the third-most on the team. Wilson and the Lander defense pitched seven shutouts in a row to start the season and have given up only 12 goals in 15 games. She scored her third career goal against Tusculum in August and collected the PBC Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 31.
Redman, a junior from Charleston, S.C., collected the Elite 18 Award, which is given to the student-athlete with the highest grade-point average that is competing at the conference championship. She is carrying a 4.00 GPA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Management and is the first Bearcat to ever earn the award.
The No. 6 seed Bearcats are traveling to St. Augustine, Fla., to take on the No. 3 seed Flagler Saints tomorrow afternoon at 2:00.
