AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference released its 2025 Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll on Tuesday morning. The Lander women's soccer team was picked to finish fourth in the 11-team conference.
The Bearcats, who are coming off their first NCAA Tournament win in program history a season ago, finished the 2024 campaign with a 9-4-5 record and a sixth-place finish in the PBC regular season standings.
Among Lander's returning cast is senior
Lucy Bova, who was selected to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Bova was an All-Conference performer last year and won two PBC Defensive Player of the Week awards during the season.
Leading the poll is defending PBC champion Columbus State with eight first-place votes, followed by North Georgia with two and Flagler with one; Georgia College rounded out the top-five.
