Lindqvist named WGCA All-American

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Kajsa Lindqvist earned her first All-American distinction from the Women's Golf Coaches Association following the 2024-25 season, it was announced Friday.

Lindqvist, named to the Second Team, previously earned recognition from the WGCA as an All-South Region Team member last month. She was also selected to the All-Peach Belt Conference First Team for the third time in as many years this season.

The Gothenburg, Sweden, native played in all 11 tournaments the Bearcats competed in this year, and 12 in total including her top-five showing at the NCAA Championship.

Her final round at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada, was a seven-under 65 – her second such round of the season in addition to the Savannah Lakes Invitational back in September – which was the second-lowest round of the tournament.

Lindqvist shot 70-73-65 to finish at -8 in a tie for fourth; that followed her fourth-place result at the NCAA South Regional in Gainesville, Georgia, the week prior to qualify for the Championship.

She also helped lead the Bearcats to their second PBC Championship in three years in April. Lindqvist finished third in that tournament while Lander won by six strokes over North Georgia.

A stellar season that included eight top-five finishes and nine top-10s, Lindqvist concluded the 2024-25 campaign ranked 13th in the nation by Scoreboard.

This is Lander's second All-American under the direction of head coach Mark Riddle (Hannah Stephenson, 2022) and third in program history (Teresa Hernani, 2013).
