Lander’s Altmaier, Panchal earn Peach Belt Women’s Tennis Honors

AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference announced its 2025 Women's Tennis All-Conference award winners on Thursday, with Lander University's Evelyn Altmaier earning Second Team All-Conference honors in singles and Hannah Panchal receiving the prestigious Elite 18 Award presented by Barnes & Noble College.

Evelyn Altmaier - Second Team All-Conference (Singles)
Altmaier, a standout for the Bearcats this season, compiled an 11-6 overall record in singles play while also posting a 9-5 mark in doubles competition. For her strong performances on the court, she was recognized as the PBC Player of the Week once during the season.

Hannah Panchal - Elite 18 Award
Panchal was awarded the Elite 18 Award, presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA competing at the championship site. The award recognizes excellence in both academics and athletics across all PBC sports.

As a team, Lander finished the regular season with an 11-9 overall record and went 1-5 in Peach Belt play. The Bearcats enter the PBC Tournament as the No. 6 seed and will face off against third-seeded Columbus State in the quarterfinal round.
