Miller, Savelio Sweep Peach Belt Honors for Third Time This Season

AUGUSTA, Ga. - For the third time this season, the Lander University volleyball duo of Katie Miller and Enisilina Savelio has swept the Peach Belt Conference weekly awards, with Miller earning Player of the Week and Savelio claiming Specialist of the Week, the league office announced Monday.

The recognition marks Miller's fifth Player of the Week honor of the season and the 19th of her career, extending her Peach Belt Conference record yet again. For Savelio, this is her third Specialist of the Week award of both the season and her career.

Miller delivered back-to-back dominant performances against Augusta, recording her 13th and 14th double-doubles and her sixth and seventh 20-plus kill matches of the year.

In a five-set battle on Nov. 7, the junior outside hitter posted a match-high 22 kills and 12 digs before following up with another match-high 23 kills, 14 digs, and five total blocks in Lander's four-set win the next day.

Across both matches, Miller totaled 45 kills (5.00 KPS), 26 digs (2.89 DPS), 52.5 points (5.83 PPS), and eight blocks.

The reigning PBC Player of the Year continues to lead the conference in kills (404, 4.44 KPS), points (484.5, 5.32 PPS), and service aces (54), while ranking in the top 10 nationally in attacks per set (11.95), points per set, and service aces.

Enisilina Savelio - Specialist of the Week

Savelio also turned in a stellar weekend performance, recording her ninth and tenth double-doubles of the season in back-to-back matches against Augusta.

The junior setter tallied 34 assists, 12 digs, and six kills while hitting .500 in the first contest, then followed up with 38 assists, 13 digs, and seven kills in Saturday's rematch victory.

For the week, Savelio totaled 72 assists (8.00 APS) and 25 digs (2.78 DPS), continuing to set the tone for Lander's balanced offense.

She currently ranks second in the PBC in assists (859, 9.44 APS) and hitting percentage (.351), while sitting tenth in service aces (30). Nationally, she's tied for ninth in triple-doubles with two this season.

Together, Miller and Savelio have now combined for eight total conference weekly honors this season.
