Greenwood, S.C. - Lander Rocket League (13-1) faced off against #3 Clemson Tuesday night in the Horne Arena for the semi-annual Pack the Stands night hosted by the Lander First-Year Experience program.
In front of a record-breaking crowd of over 600 fans, Lander saw success early, scoring the first goal in all 3 games of the series. In game 1, Clemson tied the series up to force overtime before Medlin put the game-winner in to give Lander a 1-0 lead.

Lander found an early 2-0 lead in game 2 before Clemson scored back to back goals to even up the score with 1:15 remaining. Medlin found the back of the net with 23 seconds on the clock to put Lander up 2-0 in in the series.

In game 3, Lander closed out the series with two goals in the first minute en-route to a 4-1 victory and completing the 3-0 sweep.Â

The series win moves Lander into a tie for 2nd place with NC State in the Carolina Collegiate Conference and will face the Wolfpack on Tuesday, October 21st at 7 PM.
