AUGUSTA, Ga. –
Katie Miller has been named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season and the 17th time in her career after an exceptional performance in the four-set win at Flagler on Friday, Oct. 10.
Miller posted a season-high 29.5 points, recording 25 kills on 59 swings for a .322 hitting percentage, along with 11 digs, two total blocks, and three service aces. The effort marked her fourth match this season with 20 or more kills and her 10th double-double of the year.
Miller continues to lead the Peach Belt in multiple categories, ranking first in kills (259, 4.32 per set), service aces (39), and points (311.5, 5.19 per set). Nationally, she stands among the elite, ranking 12th in total kills, 10th in total attacks, tied for ninth in service aces, eighth in points per set, ninth in attacks per set, and 13th in aces per set. Her consistency and offensive dominance have solidified her as one of the top all-around performers in NCAA Division II volleyball.
Miller and the Bearcats will return to action tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 14, in a road match at North Greenville starting at 6 p.m.
