Converse downs Lander

Spartanburg, S.C. - Converse defeated Lander 5-2 Saturday afternoon in nonconference women's tennis play. 

The Bearcats picked up the doubles points with wins from Maria Jose Zarza and Mille Elsborg, as well as Hanna Panchal and Micaela Pallete. Panchal won her #3 singles match in straight sets, but Converse would pick up wins in the other singles matches to take the win.
