Francis Marion defeats Lander

Florence, S.C. - Francis Marion defeated Lander 6-1 Thursday afternoon in nonconference women's tennis action. 

In doubles play, the Chiara Gerbino and Hannah Panchal team won their match, but the Patriots would take the doubles point. Maria Jose Zarza picked up the lone Bearcat point, winning her number two singles match 6-3, 6-7, 1-0.
