GREENWOOD - Lander picked up their first win of the season, running past Mars Hill 6-1 Saturday afternoon.
The Bearcats took the early 1-0 lead after doubles with wins by Maria Jose Zarza and, Mille Elsborg and, Chiara Gerbino, and Hannah Panchal. In singles play, Becca Latty and Panchal won in straight sets. Shea Connelly, Micaela Pallette, and Elsborg won their matches in three sets to secure the win for Lander.
