Women's Tennis Wrap up a Successful Bearcat Invitational

GREENWOOD - The women's tennis team wrapped up the final day of the Bearcat Invitational that took place on Friday, Oct. 18, and Saturday, Oct. 19. Teams that competed in the Invitational included Augusta University, Erskine College, and the University of South Carolina Sumter.

The women's tennis team performed strongly, finishing with an all-Lander final in singles flight A and winning the doubles tournament. Singles were a compass draw in place of a single elimination format, ensuring that everyone played four matches.

Singles Results

Evelyn Altmaier won the singles flight A while Mille Elsborg was runner-up. Maria Jose Zarza and Bailee Martin also made it to the singles flight B and C finals.
