ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Playing on the road for the first time in 18 days, the Lander men's soccer team was defeated 7-0 by host Flagler on Wednesday afternoon at Saints Field.
Lander (1-5-3, 1-3-0 PBC) put four shots on net throughout the game and registered 13 shots in all; Flagler (8-3-1, 5-2-0 PBC) had seven and nine, respectively.
Christian Hatley almost had the game's first goal 8:11 into the contest but his header hit the crossbar.
Freshman
Sam Crolla made his first collegiate appearance and played 15 minutes while
Keanu Ridgill made a goal-tending appearance during the second half for the first time since Sept. 8 at Rollins.
Lander returns to Van Taylor Stadium for a conference match with Georgia Southwestern this Saturday, Oct. 19 at 6 p.m.
