COLUMBUS, Ga. - Lander fell to Columbus State 1-0 Saturday afternoon in Peach Belt women's soccer action.
The Cougars got a goal in the fifth minute to take the early lead. They would hold Lander to just seven shots, keeping the Bearcats from finding the net. In goal, Leah Hayes Coen made a career-high eight saves, suffering her first loss of the season.
