WINGATE, N.C. - The No. 24 Lander men's soccer team concluded the week with a 2-2 tie against No. 7 Rollins College on Saturday afternoon.
Lander moves to 0-1-1 overall while Rollins moves to 1-0-1 overall.
How It Happened
Lander was first to strike, as Christian Hatley scored his second goal of the season off a pass from Zach Meyer in the fifth minute of play.
The Bearcats would hold a 1-0 edge going into the half.
Rollins tied the game in the 50th minute before Lander would retake the lead in the 71st minute with Jamie Escos Castillo scoring his first goal of the season off an assist from Aingeru Aguirre.
Late in the 88th minute, the Tars would tie the contest at 2-2 where the score would remain.

- Hatley has scored in the first two games of the season. He also has five shots on goal through the first two contests.
- Connor Jaramillo, Frankie Draper, Giacomo Sartori, Bailey Hall and Meyer all recorded their first starts as Bearcats.
