GREENWOOD - Lander exploded for five second-half goals as the Bearcats rolled past Emmanuel in the season opener. The Bearcats defense allowed just one shot by the Lions on the night. 

Maren White put the Bearcats on the board in the ninth minute on a cross by Claire Regnault to break the scoreless tie. In the 35th minute, Romie Llewellyn found Emma Sexton to make it a two-goal game heading into the half. 

Annika Seifart got Lander going 2:25 into the second half, and Llewellyn added a goal five minutes later to make it 4-0. Seifart added her second goal of the game, and Alaire Hodge and Vilde Øestensen each scored to give Lander the win.
