Milledgeville, Ga. - The Bearcats dropped Friday's contest to #11 Georgia College 0-7.
Sina Albersmeier and
Mille Elsborg represented No.1 Doubles. They were the only winning set of the afternoon. The duo won 6-2 in under 20 minutes.
Maranda Adair and
Emily Ineson fell 2-6 in No.2 Doubles and
Hannah Panchal and
Fe Batoon dropped 4-6 in No.3 Doubles.
In No.1 Singles, Albersmeier lost 1-6, 4-6, while Elsborg pushed her opponent 4-6, 5-7 in No.2 Singles. Adair fought in a tiebreaker set to begin her match, eventually falling 6-7, 2-6.
Chiara Gerbino dropped 0-6, 1-6 in No.4 Singles, while Panchal had earned a tiebreaker after winning the second set. She scored 3-6, 6-4 [10-6]. Batoon wrapped up the afternoon with a No.6 Singles loss of two-straight 2-6 sets.
The Bearcats return to Georgia for a battle against Columbus State on Saturday, April 1st at 11:00 am.
