Greenwood, S.C. - Women's tennis defeated Emmanuel on Wednesday afternoon 5-2. The Bearcats won in the first four singles sets, as well as securing the doubles points.
Sina Albersmeier and Chiara Gerbino took care of business in No. 2 Doubles, cruising 6-2, while Fe Batoon and Becca Latty held their own 6-4.
Mille Elsborg had a dominant showing in 6-3, 6-1 sets. Gerbino continued earning team points, winning in No. 2 Singles with two 6-2 sets. Maranda Adair was pushed, but overcame her opponent in 7-5, 6-4 sets, while Emily Ineson closed out the afternoon winning 6-0, 4-6, 6-4.
The Bearcats will travel to Belmont Abbey on Saturday for a 1 pm match.
