Spartanburg, S.C. - Men's tennis remains undefeated as they cruise to a 7-0 win over Converse. All six Bearcats that competed on Thursday have not lost a Singles match this season.
Lander won two of their three Doubles matches to gain the first point. The ranked duo of Hugo Regner and Matthew De Groot along with the pair of Emilien Baradel and Nicolas Chan, both won their matches 6-1.
Matthew De Groot shutout his opponent in No. 2 Singles with two straight sets of 6-0. Hugo Regner took the No. 1 Singles point, scoring consecutive 6-3 sets. Alexandre Crepy defeated his opponent 6-0, 6-3 in No. 3 Singles.
Nick Beamish and Nicolas Chan took care of business winning their Singles 6-4, 6-0 and 6-1, 6-0 respectively. Markus Sorensen was tested in his No. 5 Singles match, but was victorious 7-6[7-5], 6-3.
Men's tennis doesn't return to the courts until next week, when host Emmanuel on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd at 2 pm.
